SILK ROUTE

A simple robot base on the concept:
It will move on WHITE LINE if background is of black color. Or,
will follow the BLACK LINE if background is white.

PROBLEM STATEMENT:

Robot has to reach the destination in the least time by just following the black lines on white background.

PARTICIPANTS:

  1. Maximum 5 members per team are allowed.
  2. Individual participation is allowed.
  3. Participants must hold valid college identity cards.

RULES AND REGULATIONS:

  1. This is a sort of racing event so the fastest and most balanced robot will win.
  2. Whole event comprises of 4 levels.
  3. Tracks will be disclosed 15 minutes prior to the starting of the competition.
  4. The Entire Robot Must be a Volume of 6,500 Cubic cm or less.

LEVEL-1

  1. Robot has to follow the given track and reach the destination in the least time.
  2. Distraction of robot from the track is allowed only 2 times after that negative point will be given to the robot.
  3. Robots which will take lesser time and less negative points will be promoted to level 2.

LEVEL-2

  1. Robot has to choose one of the path to reach the destination in the least time.
  2. Distraction of robot from the track is allowed only 2 times after that negative point will be given to the robot
  3. Robots which will take lesser time and less negative points will be promoted to the level 3

LEVEL-3

  1. Track will be in the form of a grid.
  2. Robot has to trace the grid by applying the given logic that will be provided spontaneously.
  3. Distraction of robot from the track is allowed only 2 times after that negative point will be given to the robot
  4. Best 4 robots will be promoted to level 4.

LEVEL-4

  1. A maze will be given to solve.
  2. All the 4 robots will enter in the maze simultaneously.
  3. The first maze solver will be the winner.
  4. Runner-up will be decided according to their time taken.
