post of Director of Boilers under U.P. Govt. and
has been himself a brilliant Mechanical Engineer
with a bright academic record. He is the prime mover
in developing this Institute to this height of glory.

Vice
Chairman of the MIET Group of Institutions, has
obtained his B.Tech. (E.E.) from IIT, Kanpur and
Master of Science (EECS) from University of California,
Berkeley. He has also done PGDM from IIM, Bangalore
where he was awarded the Gold Medal for his academic
excellence. He has worked in Barclays Capital, a
leading Investment Bank in London and brings with
him a rich and diversified experience to MIET that
has taken the quality of education in the Institute
to a new level.

Lt.
Gen. J. M. Garga (Retd.)
Director General of the institute is known for instilling
academic excellence and motivating students to do
exceedingly well for the competitive world. He is
graduate BE (Mech.) from University of Roorkee.
He obtained Post Graduate degree ME (Process Design)
in first class with distinction from Kanpur He served
the Army for over three and half decades and had
an illustrious career. He has been the leader of
several delegations to countries like USA, France,
Holland, Spain, and England, and was also consultant
to Federal Government of Nigeria. He personally
monitors the activities of placement cell of MIET.

Prof. A.K Solanki
Head
of Computer Science & Engineering
has obtained his Ph.D in computer Science and Engineering
from Bundelkhand University Jhanshi. He has more
than 22 years of teaching experience. Professor
Solanki is appointed as an executive committee member
of national executive council of Indian society
of technical education (ISTE) for three years 2009-2012
for Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand Region. He is
also the member of selection and inspection committee
of AICTE, UPTU and other Universities. Prof. Solanki
research contribution is in the field of Dataware
housing and Web Mining.

Dr.
Ram Chakka, Director Research, received his B.E.
(ETE, 1980), M.S. (Engineering) (Computer Science
and Automation, 1986, by research and course work)
both from I.I.Sc., Bangalore, and Ph.D. (Computer
Science, 1995) from the Newcastle University, England,
as a staff. Earlier, Dr. Chakka worked at I.I.Sc.,
Newcastle University, Imperial College London, Middlesex
University (London), Norfolk State University (USA),
Sri Sathya Sai University, and RGMCET. He was awarded
the Certificate
of Excellence for Outstanding Scholarship
by the School of Science
and Technology, NSU. Dr. Chakka has published over
55 papers in SCI and ISI-listed journals, peer-refereed
Research Volumes and prestigious International Conferences.
His contributions in Generalized Markovian Queuing
Models for the emerging high speed telecommunication
systems and networks are seminal and regarded highly.
Dr. Ram Chakka was listed in the 2009 edition of
Marqui's Who
is Who in the World.

Shri.
Sanjeev Maheshwari
Prof and Dean Academics has done his graduation
(BE) from Shivagi University and post graduation
(ME) from Government Engineering College, Aurangabad.
He has more than 18 years of teaching experience.
He has organized various projects exhibitions and
state level e-commerce seminars. Apart from this
he has actively participated in various workshops
like, Fiber Optic in Mumbai, Laser and its Applications
CEDT, Aurangabad. Apart from an excellent academician
he is also known for his strict administration.
He has thrice worked as central superintendent,
MIET, Meerut. He had been a member of Board of Studies
BAMU, Aurangabad. He has headed the chair for TECHNOPTICA
(State Level Conference) . He is a life member of
Indian Society for Technical Education ISTE, New
Delhi and also worked as honorary treasurer for
ISTE Chapter, Aurangabad. |
