He
received Ph.D. from University of California, Irvine
USA in 1969 and M.Sc. with Gold Medal for standing
first from University of Roorkee, (now IIT, Roorkee).
He has 42 years teaching, research and industrial
experience which includes 20 years teaching at BITS,
Pilani. He has also worked at the prestigious Lawrence
Radiation Laboratory, Berkley, USA. He is a charted
engineer and fellow of the Institution of Electronics
& Telecommunications Engineers and a life member
of the Indian Physics Association.
