Professor Parma Nand is working as Professor and Head in department of Computer Science & Engineering in Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology, Meerut. He received his M.Tech & B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from IIT Delhi and pursuing his PhD from IIT Roorkee in Wireless Computing since 2009. Currently, He has supervised more than 50 projects/dissertation of M.Tech & B.Tech students. He has more than 18 years of experience including 6 years of industrial and more than 12 years in teaching and research. He has worked for seven years in Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology as Professor and Head of Computer Science & Engineering. He has also acted as officiating Director in GCET. He headed the team in designing & developing the syllabus for dept. of CSE of Galgotias University. He worked as a consultant for number of project of industries including CMC India Ltd. He is President of National Engineers Organization. He is Life time member of ISTE. He is also having active memberships of IEEE, ACEEE, ISOC, IAENG, and IASCIT. He has reviewed no. of books for publications like Tata McGraw-Hill, Galgotias Publications etc. and papers for journals of international repute. He has published more than 33 papers in peer reviewed international/national journals and conferences. He is an active reviewer of number of Journals e.g. Elseveir Journal Computers & Electrical Engineering. His research interest includes Computer Graphics, Algorithm, Distributed Computing and Wireless and Sensor networking.
