Department of Pharmaceutical Technology is one of the few among Pharmacy Colleges of UPTU which is PCI approved and has state of the art laboratories. The equipment and instruments held in the labs is the best and has HPLC, Rheometer, Picodrop UV Spectrophotometer, Freeze dryer, digial plethysmometer, lagendrof, and Students Psychograph to carry out research.

The faculty members are highly dedicated and are chosen from different premier institutes of India.

This is the only department where students have published papers at under graduate level while post graduate level the number exceeds more than 100.

It is one of the prestigious departments of UPTU and accredited by NBA.
