Dr.
Ram Chakka obtained BE (Electrical and
Electronics 1980) and MS(Engg.) (Computer Science
and Automation, 1986) from the Indian Institute
of Science (IISc) which is most highly reputed in
India. He obtained his Ph.D. (Computer Science,
1995) from the Newcastle University, United Kingdom).
He is the Director (Research & Development)
at MIET, and has experience of over 25 years in
teaching and research. He worked at top institutions
in the world in Computer and Information Technologies,
and was a faculty at the globally most prestigious
institution known as the Imperial College London
for several years. His research work has been published
in many top quality International journals, books
and International conferences. He is an internationally
renowned professor, several faculty at MIET and
abroad have been doing their doctoral research for
Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr. Ram Chakka. He
provides excellent final year projects in cutting-edge
technologies to B.Tech. and M.Tech. students. For
this purpose he has been enhancing a number of laboratories
including the Networks Laboratory, Software Engineering
Laboratory, Communications Laboratory and Signal
Processing Laboratory. These enhancements are very
useful for high quality student projects at undergraduate
and post graduate levels. A few of his recent, internationally
recognized publications are listed below:
