Dr. Mayank Garg, Director of the Institute has done his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from Nagpur University, Nagpur and did his M.E. and Ph. D. from IIT Roorkee, Roorkee formerly University of Roorkee. He received University Medal in M.E. degree program for standing first class with distinction. He was direct awardee of Senior Research Fellowship and Research Associateship of CSIR, Human Resource Development Group, New Delhi. He has various publications in acknowledged national and international journals. He has presented many research papers in National Seminars. After eleven years of research experience he has been Assistant Professor, Professor and Head in Department of Mechanical Engineering in some of the premier institutes. He was also engaged in designing and developing lab equipments, UG Laboratories and Workshops. He has taken over as Director of MIET in July, 2012r and strongly dedicated to promote the aim of Institute to achieve academic excellence. He is committed to his students to provide them quality technical education, academic discipline, streamlined infrastructure, and congenial environment for studies.
