He is working as Professor and Addl. Director in MCA Department. He is also teaching M.Tech (Computer Sc.) classes. He is Ph.D. (Computer Science) from Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra in 2006 on the topic: Checkpointing-Based Fault Tolerance in Mobile Distributed Systems, M.S. (Software Systems) from BITS Pilani in 2001 with 8.76 CGPA. and MCA from Kurukshetra University in 1989. He is also B.Sc (Non-Medical) from Kurukshetra University in 1986. He has worked as Professor (Computer Sc & Engineering)-Cum- Director (Research) in Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology {An Engineering college affiliated to Staffordshire University, UK and approved by AICTE) from 16.10.2007 to 17.09.09. He has started an international journal "International Journal of Computing Science and Communication Technologies".
He has Worked as faculty in Computer Sc & Engineering in National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur (HP) from August 91 to March 2007.he has published Two papers in ACM journals and four papers appear in the Journals listed in Science Citation Index Expanded; Two papers will be published in Springer’s LNCS series in July 2011. One paper published in IEEE Digital Library. Contributed 47 papers in reputed International Journals. Area of interest: Mobile Computing, Distributed Systems, Fault Tolerance and Checkpointing Algorithms. Seven Research Scholars have completed their PhD in his Guidance. His name appeared in Marqui’s Who is Who in the World 2010.

Dr. Tanweer Alam, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Application is having his Ph.D. Degree in 2012, MTech(Information Technology) in 2010 with 87.5% marks, MPhil (Computer Science) in 2007 from Madurai Kamraj University, Madurai and MCA from UP Technical University,Lucknow. He has got his Master Degree in Mathematics in 2000 from CCS University, Meerut, UP. He has a rich teaching experience at UG and PG level of Computer Science, Information Technology and Computer Applications.
He is life time member of Professional Societies like International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT), International Association of Engineers (IAENG), Internet Society (ISOC) and Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA). He has reviewed no. of papers for journals of international repute. He has published more than 25 papers in peer reviewed international/national journals and conferences. He is an active reviewer of number of Journals e.g. International Journal of Information Technology and Engineering (IJITE), Journal of Advance Research in Computer Engineering-An International Journal (JARCE), International Journal of Computer Applications (IJCA). His research interest includes Mobile Ad Hoc Networks, Wireless Computer Networks and Programming.
He has written more than 10 books as a single author in different fields like Internet & Java Programming, Core Java, Web Technology, .Net Framework & C# Programming, Computer Based Optimization Techniques and Computer Graphics etc.
