Purpose of the International Collaboration Cell

  • To establish and sustain strategic international academic and research partnerships with reputed global institutions.
  • To enhance the quality of teaching, learning, and research through international exposure and collaboration.
  • To promote global competencies and cross-cultural learning among students and faculty members.
  • To facilitate collaborative research, innovation, and knowledge exchange at the international level.
  • To enable the adoption of international best practices in curriculum design, pedagogy, and institutional processes.
  • To strengthen the institution’s global visibility, academic reputation, and international engagement

MIET Signs Cooperation Agreement with BUILDERS École d’Ingénieurs, France

Meerut Institute of Engineering & Technology (MIET) signed a Cooperation Agreement with BUILDERS École d’Ingénieurs, Caen, France, on 6 May 2026.

The agreement was signed by Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Kumar Singh, Director, MIET, and Guillaume Carpentier, Director of Engineering and International Affairs, BUILDERS École d’Ingénieurs, in the presence of Prof. Mohammad Saud Afzal of IIT Kharagpur, Prof. Sanjeev Singh, Dean Academics, Prof. Kamal Kumar, Head of Civil Engineering, MIET, and Tanushree Jain, Manager – International Collaboration Cell, MIET.

The collaboration will establish a Franco-Indian Centre of Excellence in Civil Engineering and create opportunities for joint research, collaborative learning, faculty and student exchanges, and international academic pathways. It will enable students to build foundational knowledge in India and pursue advanced engineering education in France.

This partnership reflects MIET’s continued commitment to international academic collaboration and strengthening Indo-French educational ties.
