The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) being conducted by MIET is duly approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), the apex body of Government of India in Higher Technical Education.  After successful completion of 2 years full time management program, students will be awarded Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) which is equivalent to MBA for all practical purposes and is recognized by industry, global MNC’s. 60 seats are available in PGDM Course.

Why PGDM?
This is the flag ship program of the institute.  The need to develop this course arose from the corporate needs to provide state of the art skills matching the changes occurring in the current business environment.  MBA programs governed by Universities often take time to adjust to changing industry requirement, thus they are seldom able to cater to changing demands of the industry.  In PGDM we run curriculum which quickly adapt to changing dynamics, thus increasing productive employability of management graduates. PGDM@MIET has developed its own syllabus and its contents by very senior academicians of management and industry, including experts from IIM’s.  The syllabus is updated every year based on feedback from recruiting companies, alumni and our faculty members, to meet the present market requirement of management skills.  We are confident that this approach will impart competitive advantage to our students over other courses.

Management team
The management team comprises of IIT and IIM graduates who provide continuous feedback from their vast experiences.  PGDM@MIET is mentored by Mr. Gaurav Agarwal, an IIT Kanpur alumni and IIM Bangalore Gold Medalist who brings his experience of working in the USA and UK to the institute.
