The Registrar is the Head of the administrative wing of the Institute. Administration in MIET,Meerut is a service function, with the main goal of providing support to the academic side of the Institute. The key function of the Registrar therefore is to ensure that the administrative wing provides efficient and courteous support to students, faculty, academic functionaries, so they can excel in teaching and R&D, while ensuring that all statutory requirements are being met. Finally, as the core function of the Institute is academics and the goal is to excel in that, to avoid friction with the academic side of the Institute, the Registrar must have respect for academics, academicians, and academic values.

Mr. Sanjay Vashisth has long experience of Academic & Administrative experience. He is a professional with 15 years of experience and is a Postgraduate of CCS University, Meerut. Mr. Vashisth has been working with MIET Group of Institutions since February, 2006, before which he was with Ideal Group of Institutions, Ghaziabad. His primary responsibilities including all administrative matters, involving Faculty & Staff recruitments, increments, promotions & leave records. He is also responsible for correspondence related to all administrative activities, record keeping of Personal Files of Faculty & Staff members providing statistics & overall coordination of Faculty & Staff salaries. He also holds a number of student centric responsibilities, which include interfacing with AICTE for Postgraduate GATE Scholars; interfacing with Divisional Railway Manager of Delhi Division for Student Railway Concession Forms.

Shri Shiv Poojan Singh has long experience of academic, administrative and has been dealing with students matter under G.B.T.U. Lucknow now M.T.U., Noida, eversince then inception. Conducting of examination & successful execution of all examination related matters, result analysis and maintenance of student’s data & attendance, all correspondence with University authorites and Social welfare office, feed back of faculties, salary related matters and functioning of routine work at office. He is well versed in all these and has been an asset to the Institute.
